Gas compatibility

The SIGAL 2000 signalling assemblies can equip all the gas changeover manifolds and modules shown in the catalogue for gas utilization equipment.

 

Scope of application.

The SIGAL 2000 signalling systems facilitate the management of gas supplying sources and enable to prevent gas supply failure. They are used in all research and industry fields.

 


Main features

The signalling system is presented as complete assemblies including a SIGAL 2000 electronic unit and one or two pressure sensors to install on the gas manifold or module to be monitored.

The SIGAL 2000 box receives 2 pressure sensor types:

  1. Pressure transmitters with 4-20mA current loop.
  2. Pressure switches with adjustable triggering threshold (or pressure controllers), selected according to number of sources (gas manifold or module) and type of gas.

Connected to pressure transmitters, the SIGAL 2000 unit indicates the source pressures in the form of 2 bargraphs with 10 LED (light emitting diode).

The pressure drop under a pre-set threshold triggers an alarm characterised by:

  • Acoustic signal activation (buzzer)
  • Individual LED illumination
  • Individualised alarm report switch opening.
